>> All News From BookhouseThe Importance of the Manuscript --A Note from the Editor
I tell prospective new clients who are considering a corporate history that the most important thing to consider is the manuscript. Yes, our designers will make the book look great. We can shoot stunning photography and the printer we hire will make your coffeetable book look fabulous. But the first thing you'll see is plain paper with words on the pages. And if you're not happy with the commemorative history our writer has composed, everything else -- the design, photos, printing, etc. -- may not excite you because you were let down at the beginning. That's why we talk so much about quality writing, using very, very experienced writers who will spend a lot of time with you to make sure your company history is a great story, well documented, but fun to read.
